Meet the owner:
Mindy Farley, LPN
Mindy was born and raised in Carroll County, Georgia by Sammy and Anne (Parker) White. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Pete Folds of Burwell, grand-daughter of the late Christine "Nonnie" (Folds) White, and grand-daughter the late H.M. and Bertha (Lovvorn) Parker of Bowdon Junction, Ga.
Mindy knew at a very early age that she would follow in the footsteps of her grandmother whom was a nurse's aide at Tanner Medical. Just after graduating high school in 1991, Mindy unknowingly experienced the great need for home care services. Her closest grandmother was strickened with larengeal cancer. Unable to speak, her grandmother was having a very difficult time managing in her small apartment. The family was urged to have "Nonnie" moved into a local nursing home and she died shortly thereafter at Tanner Medical due to complications of a stroke. Heart-broken, it was then that Mindy decided to enroll into nursing school, and graduated top of her class in 1993. In 2007, with more than 16 years of nursing experience, Mindy joined with her eldest sister Connie to develop what Robin's Nest is today, in the hopes that no other loved one must go through what their grandmother endured by having to leaving her home that she loved so much.
Mindy currently resides in Carrollton with her husband. She has two boys from a previous marriage, one adopted son, a step-daughter and two foster children. Mindy works full-time as a nurse at a local physicians office in Carrollton and she serves as the administrator owner of Robin's Nest. Mindy performs all of the initial paperwork and assessments, so be sure to look for her!
